I've recently discovered Picasa. A very good way of organizing pictures and sharing them. Really recommend it. And did I mention I'm really into all Google things? Translate, Mail, Calender, Notebook, Blogger..
I had the same problem when I tried to comment on your post the other day! It was very fun to make a Blurb book. There are so many alternatives and layouts and colors! I'm already into my next project, a dog book, and possibly a book for Grandma with pictures of Rut.
